I’m more interested in talking about how we deal with this overwhelming feeling of not having it all figured out

I’ve found that one of the most incredibly difficult things for us to do as humans is be present. We’re either constantly reminiscing about the past or we’re overindulging in planning for the future. When in all reality, we’re only guaranteed the now. And even that’s arguable. Even when we convince ourselves to focus on “the now”, we often find ourselves pondering the “how”. How will I make this happen? How will I accomplish this? If I want to be married but I don’t even have a boyfriend/girlfriend – how? If I want kids someday but I don’t think I’ll ever be ready – how? If I want to finish school but I have to maintain a full time job & take care of family – HOW?! It’s like sensory overload when all of these thoughts creep into our minds. And once it starts, it’s painfully difficult to make it stop.

  1. Hey there!

I’m still figuring out all the ins & outs of WordPress. Is your site/account dedicated to sharing articles that others have written/published? If so, thank you for sharing my work & linking it to my site! If you’ve written & published any articles, I’d like to check them out sometime.

    With love & health,
    Kaitlyn

  2. Hi Kaitlyn 🙂

I am truly *honored* by your presence! 😀

I manage many blogs (sort of like some authors write many books) … and I am ALSO *still figuring out the ins & outs* of WP (quite poetic doncha think 😉 #STOLEN 😛 ) #ThisAlsoAppliesToLifeInGeneral

One of the blogs I write on *most* regularly (as in: M-F) is http://Wants.Blog — and yes: that’s also one in which I express my opinions (mostly via “metadata”) about stuff I read all over the WWW.

I used to write a lot more on a site called http://remediary.com (AKA http://freely.be 😉 ) … but that can perhaps be “heady” (and / or simply difficult to understand — unless, maybe, you’ve spent a lot of time around me an / or my ideas).

I now also write quite regularly (as in: once a week) @ http://socio.business.blog — mainly as a sort of journal to my (deceased) parents … but also simply journaling my thoughts related to stuff like the real world, media, ideas and crap like that. I think it might also become somewhat of a “guide” to a bunch of social projects that I intend to build a hub for @ http://Socio.BIZ

I guess I write a lot. You obviously write very well. I wish the two were more closely related!

    🙂 Norbert
