It is a good story and maybe we’re fascinated by instances of literary fraud precisely because publishing is still widely regarded as a business grounded in trust, relationships and old-fashioned courtesy. Active production of meaning is now a matter of interacting with natural languages (cf. wants.blog ). It does not need no education, Google — no central authority, no golden algorithm to solve each and every problem. It is decentralized, distributed, networking.
