I chose a couple locations and told the Universe that I wanted to be there. I was willing to compromise on the job, but not the setting or the living situation. I also wanted a specific sort of housing. I will not live with a roommate, no matter how perfect s/he is. I have already decided that even living with Jesus would be a challenge. Though, that whole water to wine thing would be handy. Anyway I got clear and specific. I was feeling this process way more than previously. I had found my vibe.

Instead of putting a lot of significance on material things, perhaps you can divert that energy towards people and relationships that matter

My two most often questions when buying are 1.) where do I put this in the house, and 2.) will I use this? That’s why we don’t usually have “special occasion items” at home (except, of course, Christmas decorations). Keyword is “usually”, because we’re not perfect either, but we try our best.

Every now and then, we forget.

We play, we study, we graduate into maturity, and then we choose to settle. We tell ourselves that we’re not as fortunate as others to be able to let ourselves go and live a little because of what we have in our hands – a job, a family, etc. We start to believe in those lies we tell ourselves.

I don’t have time. I can’t take time off from work. I have to find a career job in this point in my life. It’s not a good time in my life to go. I have kids to take care of and taking them with me would cost me a fortune. It’s too complicated. I have no money. 

These are just a few of the lies we tell ourselves. The lies we start to believe in so much that we lose sight of any possibility…
