how the fuck do I do this? (write a book)

It’s a Tuesday morning, and I’m late for work. I was supposed to work at 10am, now it’s 10:33 am. I got lost in the Palanca Awards application page, followed the rabbit hole to see a bunch of people getting their books published, their essays awarded, and all other things that “aspiring” writers want and “legit” writers have — a published work. Better, a published “body of work.”
